Product Description:

This product is manufactured from 5019-H112 aluminum-magnesium alloy. As a high-magnesium, non-heat-treatable alloy (AlMg5Mn series), it offers exceptional seawater corrosion resistance and high toughness, specifically designed for marine environments and high-precision mechanical structures.

Benefiting from the H112 temper (hot-worked condition), this component maintains a high yield strength and impact toughness while avoiding the excessive softening associated with the fully annealed (O) state. This makes it ideally suited for structural applications subjected to dynamic loads.

Precision CNC milling ensures the flatness of mating surfaces, the accuracy of hole positions, and the sharp definition of irregular edges. This guarantees consistent quality across batch production and facilitates easy, precise assembly.

Production Process

This product is manufactured from 5019-H112 aluminum-magnesium alloy plates/bars using a combined process of CNC precision machining and vibratory finishing. This approach ensures the dimensional accuracy, burr-free requirements, and corrosion resistance of these small-scale components.

The primary manufacturing challenges focus on four key areas: preventing deformation during fixturing of miniature parts, avoiding damage to thin walls, controlling high-precision geometric tolerances, and effectively removing micro-burrs.

Upon completion of machining, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection is conducted to verify critical hole distances, thicknesses, and geometric tolerances, ensuring all dimensions and quality standards are met.
