Ultra-high density. The internal structure of the squeeze casting parts is more dense, and the high pressure (much higher than ordinary die casting) eliminates shrinkage holes and pores, and the density of the castings is close to the level of forgings (porosity <1%).
Excellent mechanical properties. The denser internal structure makes the mechanical properties of the parts, such as yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, hardness, etc., significantly better than traditional die castings.
High-strength materials can be processed. Suitable for aluminum alloys, such as A356, etc.
Near-net shaping, reducing processing. High dimensional accuracy (IT8~IT10), low surface roughness (Ra 1.6~6.3μm), reducing subsequent machining.
Can form complex structures (such as reinforcing ribs, special-shaped cavities). Especially more suitable for casting A356 materials.
