Product Description:

This precision motor housing assembly is manufactured from high-performance A356-T6 aluminum alloy using the squeeze casting process combined with T6 heat treatment. It leverages the material's light weight and high-strength properties to meet modern motor requirements for weight reduction and increased power density. Designed with complex cooling structures and mounting interfaces, the housing ensures efficient thermal management and stable operation in industrial or automotive applications.

Manufacturing Process:

The A356-T6 motor housing is formed by high pressure squeeze casting and subsequently strengthened through T6 heat treatment. Critical features such as bearing bores, flange surfaces, and threaded holes are precision-machined via CNC. The key manufacturing challenge lies in addressing the conflicting risks of cold shuts during filling and shrinkage porosity at heavy cross-sections under highly uneven wall thickness conditions. At the same time, deformation and cracking risks during T6 quenching must be strictly controlled. The process ultimately achieves high density, high strength, and tight dimensional accuracy for complex thin-walled structures.

Following all casting and machining operations, the components undergo ultrasonic cleaning to remove residual aluminum chips and emulsified coolant. Comprehensive dimensional inspection and X-ray internal flaw detection are then performed to ensure full compliance with specifications. Dimensional and material certification reports are provided with each shipment.
