Product Description:
This floor drain assembly—consisting of a drain body and a removable grate/anti-odor cover—is manufactured from LM6 (Al-Si12) aluminum alloy using the Standard High-Pressure Die Casting process. With a silicon content of 10–13%, the LM6 alloy offers exceptional fluidity and hot-tear resistance, enabling the formation of thin-walled structures with a smooth as-cast surface and sharp, well-defined contours. Requiring no heat treatment, the alloy provides excellent resistance to atmospheric and seawater corrosion, making it ideally suited for damp environments such as bathrooms, balconies, patios, and general industrial trenches.

Manufacturing Process
This product is manufactured from LM6 aluminum alloy using the Standard High-Pressure Die Casting process. Leveraging the alloy’s excellent fluidity and hot-tear resistance, molten metal is injected into the mold cavity at high speed and pressure, forming the complex drain body—including thin-walled ribs, drainage holes, and mounting clips—in a single shot with sharp, complete definition.
After ejection, the casting undergoes shakeout and trimming to remove gates, runners, and flash. Critical sealing surfaces (such as flange faces and pipe threads) are precision CNC machined to ensure watertight assembly. Surface treatment—including polishing and sandblasting—can be applied upon request to enhance aesthetics and weather resistance.
Finished products are subject to dimensional spot checks to verify compliance with assembly requirements. Each unit is then cleaned, securely packaged, and shipped with both material and dimensional inspection reports.
